A pressure washer can be a unique piece of equipment for a variety of reasons.
Pressure washer pull cord won t pull.
How do i get it lose.
One however can be a frustrating one for machine owners.
If there is make sure the level is correct and not over filled.
I assume you mean that it won t pull out all the way.
If you cannot pull the starter rope out i recommend pulling the trigger on the wand first.
If it does pull it a few times and see if there is any oil or gas blowing out of the spark plug hole.
Took a look at the pull rope assembly to see what was jammed or bent or broken.
I am sorry you are having a problem with the pressure washer.
If the starter rope won t budge when you try to pull it the engine may be locked up or the recoil starter may have failed.
At times a pull start pressure washer can be very hard to start and when those times happen it can be very easy to break the pull cord.
If the rope still will not come out the problem is likely in the engine.
If that s the case remove the spark plug and see if it will pull all the way out as it should.
This pressure washer had a stuck pull rope.
A stuck unloader in the pump would usually cause this.
If you can pull the rope the problem is in the pump.
