Screw this portion of the faucet off and take a look on the inside.

If you suspect a spout leak you can use a paper towel or small container to test it out.
Be careful not to.
Water will leak at the sprayhead and hose connection or may run down the pull out hose and leak under the sink.
Once you have disconnected the hose if you have a plastic weight on your hose you can now slide it off.
Turn on the faucet and allow any residual water in the pipes to drain into the sink.

If tightening the connection did not stop the leaking the faucet will need to be identified for the correct part numbers.

Next pull the hose out through the faucet spout above and then feed the new hose back down the faucet spout in the same way.

Pull out the faucet spray wand from the spout and unscrew it from the chrome pullout hose.
Identify your faucet model number.
Many times this leak is coming from the spray wand and hose connection.
Go back under the sink and slide the plastic weight back onto the hose if necessary.
Replace the seals o rings to return the faucet to water tight operation.
Wipe inside of body including where seat and spring sit with a soft cloth.
The issue will be resolved by replacing the sprayhead hose.
A cup or bowl properly positioned under the faucet spout can also work.
Dry the sink up after using the faucet then place a dry paper towel under the spout over the drain opening and check back later to see if it is wet.
If there is a lot of water deposits you can clean this by setting the faucet head in some vinegar for about 30 minutes.
Leaking at the underbody make sure the connections are tight and secure to the countertop for pull outs and pull down faucets pull down on the spray hose connection to the faucet or tighten this connection if yours is threaded on and make sure it will not disconnet and is secured tight.
In some faucets a symptom of a worn out spacer check valve is water leaking from the weep hole a small hole located in the back of the faucet body.
Confirm that the spray wand and pullout hose connection is tight.
